Growth Associate — University Student

ON-SITE | PART-TIME SYDNEY

About Naia

Our mission is to make ageing optional.

To achieve that, we’re fundamentally redesigning healthcare.

Healthcare is one of the most important, complex, and yet under-designed systems in the world. We believe it can — and must — be fundamentally remade.

Naia isn’t building another clinic network. We’re building what healthcare becomes next. To get there, we’re building clinics, products and software — creating opportunities to work across different parts of the healthcare ecosystem.

Naia is structured to give talented people real responsibility and high autonomy early. You will consistently work across disciplines on new, difficult problems that have real, society-wide implications — in an environment where ambition and hard work are rewarded.

If the role below fits you, please apply. If not, we are always looking for exceptional people — and we strongly encourage you to submit a general application.

About the Role

We’re looking for an ambitious university student who wants real experience building and growing businesses while completing their degree.

As a Growth Associate at Naia Health, you’ll work primarily on digital marketing and growth across healthcare clinics, consumer health products and new ventures. From the beginning, you’ll create ads and content, launch campaigns, analyse performance, test new approaches and scale what works.

This is not a typical university internship. You won’t spend your time observing or doing repetitive admin. You’ll be given real responsibility and increasingly take ownership of projects as quickly as your ability allows.

Although the role is heavily focused on digital marketing, you’ll gain exposure to the businesses behind the campaigns. You may spend time in our clinics, speak with customers, research new products and markets, or help launch something new. We want you to understand what you’re growing rather than simply operate advertising platforms.

What You Might Work On

Your work will be primarily focused on digital marketing and may include:

  • Creating, launching and optimising digital advertising campaigns

  • Developing and testing ads, content and landing pages

  • Analysing performance and running experiments to improve results

  • Researching customers, competitors and new growth opportunities

  • Helping launch and grow new products and services

This is an execution-heavy role. We want someone comfortable trying things, measuring what happens and improving quickly.

What We’re Looking For

You must currently be studying at university and be 18 or older.

We care much more about your ability, attitude and potential than your degree, marks or previous work experience. Previous digital marketing experience is not required.

You might be a good fit if you:

  • Are ambitious, driven and learn quickly

  • Take initiative and don’t require constant supervision

  • Take ownership and follow through on commitments

  • Enjoy experimenting, measuring results and solving problems

  • Communicate clearly and confidently

  • Are intellectually curious and comfortable with ambiguity

  • Are interested in digital marketing, business, healthcare, technology or entrepreneurship

  • Are willing to do both interesting and unglamorous work when required

We would rather hire someone with exceptional potential and teach them the technical skills than hire solely on the basis of experience.

Flexibility & Opportunity

This is a paid, part-time role designed specifically to work alongside university study. The role will typically be around one day per week, with flexibility to take time away during exams and major assessment periods and work more during quieter periods or university holidays.

For the right person, this can become much more than a university job. Strong performers can progress quickly into larger projects and more senior roles.

As an example of the opportunity available, Naia hired a UTS student into this role at the beginning of 2026. They have since been promoted internally to an executive role leading the launch of a new consumer health brand, will continue with Naia after graduation, and will receive equity in the business. For exceptional performers, there is significant opportunity to progress quickly and take on levels of responsibility and ownership rarely available to university students elsewhere.

Compensation includes a competitive base salary, superannuation, and performance-based upside tied directly to measurable outcomes.
