Consulting room at the Naia Health St Leonards hub

For clinicians · St Leonards, Sydney

Own your practice. Leave the running of it to us.

Naia Health is a multidisciplinary specialist and allied health hub in St Leonards, Sydney. You run your own independent practice. We provide the rooms, the team, the systems and the patient pathways. And because we want to partner with great clinicians, those who consult from Naia are offered equity in Naia itself from their first year.

Purely exploratory. No commitment.

Why Naia

A clinician described the practice they wished existed. We built it.

Naia exists to serve the clinician. Every part of the hub is designed so you can deliver the best care you're capable of, in the easiest practice you'll ever run.

Your practice, your rules

Your patients, your fees, your clinical decisions and your hours. Full clinical autonomy.

Colleagues down the hall

Specialists and allied health under one roof, so care can be coordinated and complex cases talked through with a colleague.

Research and teaching welcome

Host students and trainees, run studies and work alongside world-leading experts.

Built to serve you

Rooms, reception, billing, systems and growth are handled, so the admin never lands on your desk.

Moving my practice to Naia has been brilliant. The admin support is fantastic and flexible, and Naia started marketing my practice from the moment I said yes. When I have a complex case, I can talk it through with a clinician in a different specialty just down the hall, the same day.

Two ways to join

Moving an established practice, or building a new one.

Both work at Naia. Here's what each looks like.

Established practice

Bring your practice across.

We handle the move for you and have you set up quickly. Keep your patients, your referrers and the way you practise, and let us take the admin off your hands for good.

Building a practice

Start where the patients already are.

Step into a hub with GP referral pathways, a patient care team and a marketing team building your list from day one. Depending on your specialty, there may also be overflow demand from clinicians already consulting at the hub.

Who we're looking for

Is this you?

We've started with rheumatology, physiotherapy and dietetics. Now we're looking for more clinicians in these fields, and across a broader range of specialties.

Top priority

Rheumatologists

If you're a rheumatologist, established or about to finish training, we especially want to hear from you.

Now growing

Related musculoskeletal disciplines

Physiotherapy, occupational therapy, podiatry, orthotics, dietetics, exercise physiology, psychology, sport and exercise medicine, rehabilitation medicine, and other musculoskeletal and chronic disease care.

Come in early

Other specialties

We intend to build full multidisciplinary hubs, here and across Naia's other hubs, over the long term. If you practise in any medical or allied health field other than general practice or dentistry, we'd be very interested to talk to you.

What you get

Everything a practice needs. Nothing sold separately.

No rent, no staff wages, no software subscriptions. You focus on patients. Naia runs everything else.

Consulting rooms

Fully furnished consulting rooms and clinical spaces, ready when you are.

Reception and admin

Bookings, scheduling, patient communication and billing, all managed for you.

Software and AI tools

Practice management software, EMR and AI-assisted transcription to cut documentation time.

Clinical supplies

Injectables, braces and consumables procured and kept in stock, so you never run short.

Clinical support staff

Practice staff trained in support tasks, such as preparing injections, so consults run efficiently.

A dedicated marketing team

A team building your referral pathways and patient demand, with targeted campaigns for your practice.

An accountant for your practice

Your practice financials managed for you, including preparing and lodging your BAS.

Legal counsel

Access to legal counsel should you require it, for the questions every practice owner runs into.

Research, built in

Naia is research-forward. It builds datasets available exclusively to clinicians consulting from Naia, and helps facilitate the research projects you want to run.

None of this is sold separately. You pay a percentage of billings, and that covers every service above. Your rate is discussed with you, then agreed in writing before you start.

Flexibility

It's your practice. You pick your times.

Presenting at a conference overseas, working around school pick-up, or taking every July off to ski. You set your sessions and you can change them. While you're away, your systems keep running. When you're back, your room is ready.

Research

A research-forward clinical environment.

Naia actively supports clinicians to work alongside world-leading experts, including Professor David Hunter, to explore and apply novel therapies, and to run clinical trials inside the hub.

Naia is also building one of Australia's most comprehensive chronic disease datasets. It is available exclusively, and free of charge, to clinicians consulting from Naia, to use in their practice or research. If there's a project you want to run, Naia will help make it happen.

Students, trainees and registrars are welcome in the hub.

Ownership

Don't just build a practice. Own part of the company.

Naia wants to partner with great clinicians. So clinicians who consult from Naia are offered equity from their first year. Not after a decade, and not only in one clinic.

Your stake is in Naia itself: every future hub and clinic, plus the other products and services Naia owns and is building. Your practice stays independent and entirely yours. Alongside it, you hold a share in a fast-growing healthcare company.

Equity is offered individually and is subject to the terms of Naia's equity plan.

How a move works

As little as two weeks, mostly handled by Naia.

From a first coffee to your first consult, here's the path.

1

Coffee

Sit down with Professor David Hunter, a clinician consulting from Naia, and Naia's CEO to talk through what consulting from Naia would look like for you.

2

Your terms, in writing

If you're happy, Naia sends the terms you discussed, clearly set out in writing, for your agreement.

3

Setup, done for you

Naia sets up your software and systems, works with your old practice to bring your records across, and lets your patients and referral networks know you've moved.

4

Your first consult

Walk into a room that's ready, with the systems running and your patients booked.
