Dr Xiaoqian Liu is a rheumatologist specialising in musculoskeletal, inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. She has ten years’ (2004-2014) working experience in Rheumatology in China and six years’ (2021-2026) experience as a Rheumatology Fellow at Royal North Shore Hospital. Her strength is to synthesize and utilise the latest evidence combined with her unique experience in her clinical practice to promote high quality personalised patient care.

She has more than ten years of clinical research background. She finished her master’s degree in China (2003-2006) and PhD (2015-2020) in The University of Sydney. She remains active in clinical research and medical teaching. She has fourteen publications as a leading author. She presented a number of impactful oral presentations in both national and international conferences including The American College of Rheumatology convergence, Joint New Zealand Rheumatology Association and Australian Rheumatology Association Annual Scientific Meeting.
